I am writing to share information with you concerning an
exciting new initiative for Tennesseans attending college.
In Tennessee, students use a single application form to apply
for most federal, state and lottery financial aid. This form is
call the FAFSA, or Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
Filling out the FASFA is challenging for many students and
parents.
On Sunday afternoon, February 10, 200, volunteer financial aid
officers and higher education experts will answer
college-related questions and help students and families
complete the FAFSA at an event called "Tennessee College Goal
Sunday." In Rutherford County, this event will take place on
campus at Middle Tennessee State University from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
