If you didn't see the recent article regarding road improvement plans within Murfreesboro (city limits), I have listed those projects below. 

New Salem Highway from Old Fort Parkway (State Route 96) to future southwest loop with interchange at Interstate 24
Projected Completion:  2009-2011

Southwest Loop Road from South Church Street (U.S. Highway 231 South) to State Route 840
Projected Completion for state to build interchange off 840 at Beesley Road portion that's part of Southwest Loop:  End of 2007

Projected completion for state to build southwest loop from interchange to State Route 96:  End of 2008

Projected Completion for city to build Southwest Loop Road from State Route 96 to South Church:  2011

Projected completion for Phase I of city's Southwest Loop from New Salem Highway to Kimbro Road:  December of 2007

Projected completion date of Phase II of Southwest Loop from Barfield to North/South Kimbro:  July of 2009

Projected completion date of Phase III of southwest Loop that reaches South Church Street:  Some Time in 2011

Projected completion date for Kimbro Road reconstruction:  May of 2008
