Dear Smyrna Friends:

I am pleased to announce that the State has completed their review of our request for a signal at SR 266 and Mason Tucker Dr.  The traffic counts indicate that the thresholds for the MUTCD Warrants were met.  Based on the analysis of this data, a traffic signal is approved to be installed at this intersection with the condition that a SR 266 northbound left turn lane is included in this project.  If the city concurs with this recommendation, they must notify the state so that the proper documentation can be forwarded for this installation.
